Project DescriptionGallup.com was recently redesigned in an effort to capture the massive amounts of US election traffic that they typically received. With millions of unique visitors a month, Gallup.com soared as a progressive example of data-based reporting and story-telling. The Gallup.com redesign coincided with a company rebranding effort.
My InvolvementAs a crucial member of the web design team that worked hand in hand with Pentagram, I contributed a number of designs to the project that won our team a “Best of Web” award from STEP Magazine. One of my tasks was to come up with the conceptual design for our main election page. After the election was over, I was promoted and took over art direction on Gallup.com. I became responsible for keeping clear communication and direction between multiple designers and facilitated usability improvements to the site.
